How do you know when baby is engaged and ready to play, or disengaged and needs stimulation to stop? There are many cues baby gives that let you know how to react. We’ve categorized these into three groups: “Go” cues, “Slow” cues, and “Stop” cues. Stop cues indicate that baby is disengaged and needs all stimulation to stop to give them time to adjust back to a calm state. These may include crying, whining, or fussing.
