Skating on icy streets after winter storm like on an Ice Rink in front of their house!

A winter storm transformed Bismarck, North Dakota’s streets into icy rinks and led to the temporary closure of highways, including Interstate 29 from Grand Forks to the Canadian border. Travel was discouraged in south-central North Dakota, although no major power outages occurred. Blizzard warnings were issued for western parts of South Dakota, Nebraska, and Kansas, as well as eastern Colorado and Wyoming, while ice storm warnings and winter advisories were in place for South Dakota, North Dakota, and northwestern Minnesota. The National Weather Service defines a blizzard as having wind speeds over 35 mph, substantial snow blowing, and visibility under one-quarter mile for over three hours.
