CNN recently reported about a woman from Wallingford, Connecticut who used 23&Me to learn more about her genetic background only to discover that she and her boyfriend were half-siblings — this owing to the fact that both their mothers had used the same fertility doctor, and that doctor proved to be the sperm “donor” who helped impregnate their mothers.
