UNESCO Heritage Site, Doñana National Park is drying out as rising temperatures, reduced rainfall and the pumping of groundwater for intensive agricultural purposes shrink the region’s aquifer. The wetlands are home to a variety of flora and fauna and also support many endangered migratory birds.
