Live from Moscow as people rally against Russia’s offensive in Ukraine and in

People gather in the centre of Moscow on Saturday, April 2, to protest against the Russian military offensive in Ukraine and in support of the Russian opposition activist Alexei Navalny, according to the organizers. The rally has not been authorised by Moscow’s authorities.

Navalny has been found guilty of fraud and contempt of court and was sentenced to nine years in a strict regime colony.

On the morning of February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a military operation on the territory of Ukraine.
