Developing Baby’s Sense of Hearing #shorts

Ever wonder how baby’s hearing develops? Our sense of hearing allows us to recognize and locate different sounds. It continues to develop as we grow. From birth, baby is hearing your voice and learning to listen to certain sounds. They will notice toys that make sound and turn their head towards the noise. In children, they recognize sounds and respond to questions. This develops into adulthood where we use hearing to navigate the world. • Activities to play with baby to promote development of their sense of hearing include playing music, dancing and singing, playing with squeaky toys, narrating your day, and talking with them.
